CDS slipping when playing.

Try the disc in another CD / DVD player.

It is important to make sure that the DVD itself is the problem, and not the CD / DVD player.

Cleaning a CD / DVD player is a much more intricate process that requires device-cleaning hardware.

Lay the disc artwork-side down so that you can easily clean the playing side.

You should always avoid setting a disc playing-side down to prolong its lifespan.

Gently rub the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove all traces of dust and fingerprints. Always rub a disc from the center toward the outer rim in a light motion to prevent any other damage.

Apply a light amount of toothpaste to a cotton wool ball and gently rub the disc from the inside out.

You may need a few drops of water to make the toothpaste spread easily.

Cover the entire surface area of the disc, or at least the area that is scratched.

Toothpaste is a gentle abrasive that works well for fixing simple scratches.

Clean off the toothpaste with the cloth, once again rubbing from the inside of the disc toward the rim.

Try not to push too hard to prevent further damage.

Apply other kinds of light abrasives such as baking soda or glass cleaner if the sound is still distorted.

Remove the solution with the same gentle rubbing technique.

Purchase a disc-cleaning spray from a local video or electronics store.

These sprays are effective in removing any grime from the disc and filling small scratches.

hope this helps

Wii could not read disc

There could be several things wrong. Let's start with the most basic - is the disc inserted correctly? The holographic side needs to be on the left when inserting it. Then, make sure there are no scratches or smudges on the bottom of the disc. A common solution is to wipe it with a cloth or even your shirt if you don't have one handy. Look on the holographic side of the disc to make sure there isn't anything left on it. After cleaning thoroughly, try playing the disc again.
If you're still having a problem, try restarting the Wii console. However, there's always a possibility that you have a bad disc or, if you're unable to play any games, a bad console.

Wen i ensert the disc the message is unreadable

The disc may be scratched. Look for scratches on the disc and if there are clean it with a disc cleaning solution. Only outward strokes. Not circular strokes.

Hello..my ps3 (slim) console cant play the disc game because after i instert the disc few seconds later there's a sound (like when the disc start to eject) but the disc still inside and the icon for game...

Step 1: Does another game disc work?
Step 2: If so then the problem lies within that disc. If another game disc does not work check all your discs for scratches.
Step 3: if your discs are all Dirty/Scratched try cleaning them with a soft cloth or disc cleaner. Step 4: If none of these yield results try cleaning out the disc sensor inside the ps3.
Step 5: this can be done with a compressed dust cleaner (spray can) or a very SOFT brush. You do not want to damage the ps3. Step 6: This should yield results. If not then there is a hardware malfunction.

Disc is scratched xbox won't read disc is there any solution its a new disc it's scratched I think from the system it's all around the edge

You could try one of those disc repair kits I believe one is called the disc dr or something like that if the error is being caused by scratches that should fix it, if the scratches are too deep however, the disc is no good, to check this simply hold the disc up to the light, if you can see light clearly through the scratch than you know the scratch is too deep

My nba 2k11 video game has a scratch shaped like a ring around the middle of the disc what do i do

After a while of play, the game may become scratched, perhaps by misuse or even by the drive. Here are some fixes:
1.Try using a soft cloth to and rubbing alcohol to clean the disc
2.Put the disc in boiling water for 5 minutes (Put a spoon through the hole) and leave it there, when you remove it, make sure you let it sit untouched
3.Buy an advertised "DVD Scratch Fixer or Cleaner"
4.If none of the above works make sure it is not your dvd drive, or you disc may have been too damaged to repair.

Why deos halo 3 on my xbox 360 say player failed to load content

There are a number of confirmed reasons as to why the content will fail to load:

1) The disc is scratched
*Solution* - First try putting the game into another person's console to confirm that it is the disc as opposed to your console. If the game doesn't load on another person's console, the game is scratched. You can attempt to take it somewhere for disc repair or you might have to invest in another copy.

2) Corrupted Halo 3 data on your hard drive
*Solution* - If the above test proved that it is your console, try this step next. Clear the cache on your 360. Do this by:
- Scroll to the system tab on the main 360 menu
- Select Storage Devices
- Highlight your hard drive
- Press 'Y' for Drive Options
- Press the following button sequence: X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X
- It will ask if you want to preform maintenance on your storage device, select 'Yes'.
- When it's done, restart your console.

*Solution* If you're having trouble with multiplayer maps not loading, delete and reinstall of your Halo 3 DLC.

3) If none of the above solutions work, there is a problem with your console.
*Solution* - Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and utilize the manufacturer's warranty, and if you lack the warranty, compare the cost of repair to a new Xbox 360 to determine if it's worth it.

My game is scratchedwhat do i do to get the scratch out

There are several solutions available, but none of them will work if the LABEL side of the disc is scratched, or if you have really deep scratches on the underside.

You can buy liquid-based CD/DVD scratch repair kits that will also work for Xbox games. I would try that first. If that doesn't work, you could try a disc refinishing product (usually called disc doctors or skip doctors). These are (usually) motorized buffers that buff out the scratches.

Error -02-09 on my avh-p5900dvd can you please help. thanks Eddie

02-xx error can mean a lot of things.

Here are some for you to try:
Dirty Disc -- clean disc
Scratched Disc -- replace disc
Disc loaded upside down -- make sure is going in correctly
Electrical or mechanical error -- press Reset

Hope this helps.
You might have to contact Pioneer if none of these work for you.
