HELP ~~~~~Camera wont turn on

Added new batteries, a screen popped up saying change date.(AS IT ALWAYS DOES WHEN YOU PUT IN NEW BATTERIES ) So I changed the date, then a window poped up saying internal memory was full, put in the plug from camera to computer and still nothing, camera would not downlaod pictures,
the camera has to be on to do this, and it wont turn on... when u try to turn it on you can see the screen attempting to say change date it goes on and off so fast, but i know what that screen looks like... then camera goes off and nothing.....
has not been dropped or near water, was working fine last week, just did not use it because it needed new batteries... did not leave old batteries in camera...
Bought new batteries just in case these were defected, and still nothing...

You didn't provide a make or model for the camera, but if it's a Kodak, fixing your problem could be as simple as cleaning the battery contacts in the camera, or the solution could be a lot more complex and expensive. Here's a link to the Kodak Help Center - it provides a simple Q&A format to diagnose the problem and propose a solution.

Why does my camera keep saying battery exhausted even when I change the batteries?

If batteries leaked in the camera the connections IN the camera may be dirty. Putting in a new battery takes care of the battery connection but not the camera connections. This is why it is very important to take out batteries when you are done taking photos. When you want to shoot again you put the batteries back in and set the time and date. You MAY be able to clean the connections with a pencil eraser. If you use a pencil eraser please blow out the dust from the eraser. If you are positive the camera then I cannot help you here.

Hello. Remove the batteries and use the eraser on the end of a common pencil to clean the contacts. Then replace the batteries and turn it on. J.

How do I take a picture with the date and time stamp in the picture

The date stamp only works in "Postcard" resolution. Press the "Func Set" button, then scroll down to the bottom to select postcard resolution.

Then press the menu button. Select the "Camera" menu, then scroll down to the the Date Time Stamp selection to turn it on.

Change the batteries message even with new NIMH RShack batteries

The solution is to change the small 'date/time' battery. You can have the regular batteries as charged as you like, it won't make any difference. The tiny date/time battery is in the same compartment as the regular batteries, on the opposite side of the hinge. Extract it with a fingernail, it is situated on the left hand wall of the battery compartment (when the camera is inverted and the compartment open).

When I put brand new batteries, it says "Change Batteries"

Use a Q-tip with alcohol to clean all the batter contacts (battery cover and inside the battery compartment), and a small hook into the compartment to pull up the contacts a little bit up. The idea is to make the batteries connect properly.
Use NiMh rechargeable batteries or Alkaline batteries, don’t use other Dry batteries, which are not designed for digital camera.

My samsung wont turn on

It's not the camera. Are your batteries suggested for digital camera use? Have you checked the expiry date? this camera is quite the battery ****- even if your batteries show up as fully charged, a lot of brand's don't have enough power to support this camera, so MAKE sure you buy good batteries.
