Question about Apple iPhone 3G Black Smartphone
I received a broken iphone from a friend who no longer wanted it. It was dropped, then it had a white screen and vibrated for 6 hours or so until it died. Now, it wont charge, itunes won't recognize it, holding the sleep and button wont work, holding the buttons and then plugging it in wont work, and I cant bring it back to apple because its not under my name. any suggestions on what could be wrong with it?!?
If it doesn't turn on at all it's usually a broken dock connector or logic board. Hard to say what it is without opening it. Start with the dock connector, it's the cheaper part. Either can be replaced by a tech savy user and the part is available on common auction websites. There are iPhone Repair guides that show you how to do the replacement step by step.
