First thing to do is to check first the phone line, you need to know if there was no fault or problem on the telphone line. You may need an extra telephone handset to test and check if there was a dialtone or you have a problem on the line and not on your unit.

Second, make sure that the unit was fully charged and there was no electrical short circuit happened into it, better to unplug the unit for while to reset any extra faulty electric stored on the hanset.

Third make and double check your setting, remember if you have change anything or you change any value on the menu settings of the phone. See if your tone was not set pulse tone.
