It probably is on the keyboard as small blue letters, which require that you hold the Fn key while pressing.

Should be in the row above the backspace key.
If it's in white letters then you can just press it ,if it's in blue then you will have to press Fn key simultaneously

How do I print screen on lenovo t61p?

I use the combination of pressing <Ctrl>+<Fn>+<Print Screen> to copy the screen capture to the clipboard. The Ctrl and Fn keys are adjacent in the lower left hand corner of the keyboard (just left of the Windows key). The Print Screen button is the key to the farthest to the right on the top-most row of keys (look for the blue paper + printer icon).

Next open Paint. (Start > Accessories > Paint). Then choose Paste from the left hand side of the ribbon. (There is a down arrow which gives Paste or Paste From options. Just use the Paste.)
Now crop the screen capture if desired and then click on File > Print > Print. Then select your printer and press Print.

Nearly any image editor will work after the screen capture is in the clipboard.

I hope this helps.

Print preview

What program are you trying to print from? What method are you using to print? More information is required in order to assist you with your issue.

Please note, the "print screen" button does not send information to your printer, but saves an image (screenshot) to a specified location on your device.

If you're looking for a quick print, and if your printer is compatible, you could try Ctrl + P, or right click and choose print/print preview.

I am using Lenovo Y550 laptop. I want to use the Print Screen command but unfortunately there is no Print Screen key in this laptop. Could anyone please help me with regards to this issue. Thanks.

Most laptops do not have a dedicated print screen key, but instead have a function key (lower left of the keyboard, with some abbreviation of the word "function" on a key in a different color than the writing on the rest of the keys). Once you find the function key, look at the writing on the other keys that is the same color as the writing on the function key. One of those "other color" labels will be for print screen, and to use it, you hold down the function key at the same time as you push whatever key says print screen in the other color.

Where is the print screen button on a Acer Aspire 4730 laptop computer??

Your laptop keyboard should have a print screen key (look for PRTSCN). If you still can't find it, you may use a screen capture app such as this one: http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html

How do i do print screen on my netbook then open it to look at?

Hi, if you would like to print all what apears on your screen at a given moment you can use the print screen function, you will need to hold the F or Fn key while you click on the print screen key, once you done that, all the information on your screen is copied into the clip board and you will need to paste it into an image, use paints or any other graphic software and start new image then paste into it... the new image will be set exactly to your screen resolution and you can adjust to what you like... you can now print from within the graphic program by going into the menu and selecting to print.... This treck is good only if you want to print ALL what is on the screen including your program borders and you task bar, etc... best of luck

Cannot get print screen key to print o my selected printer

The print screen key doesn't actually print directly to your printer. It taks a screeshot of the the screen instead.

Try this.
1. Press the print screen key.
2. Open up Ms Paint or Ms Word.
3. Go to Edit and select Paste.
4. Go to File and select Print.

now you can print it to your print.

Windows xp dell latitude e6400 print screen command? tried fn+alt+ (f11) prt scrn and fn+(f11) prt scrn neither worked looking foreward to hear from you

What the Print Screen option does is copies the screen to the clipboard. You will need to use a program such as Word and past the content to the open page.
By hitting the Print Screen button by itself will show the image of the desktop.
The Alt + Print Screen combination will give you a pic of the active window

You can also try this...
If your Print Screen is labeled in blue & your Function key is also blue then you have to hold Fn key while using Print Scrn , "Fn"+"Print Scrn" or "Fn"+"Alt+Print Scrn"

let me know if you have any other questions..
Thanks!

I have a HP laptop I like to printscrren couple of page How can I do it please !

On a laptop, the print screen button is designated by "prt sc" or "prt scn" -- look for a button in the upper right portion of your keyboard. You will need to press and hold the the Function (usually "fn") key then tap (press and release) the button with the designation for print screen on it. This takes a "snapshot" of whatever is on your entire screen and temporarily saves it to the clipboard (like a "copy" does when you copy and paste something). If you wish to just capture the active window, hold the Function key, hold the alt key, then tap the print screen key. This only works on some laptops, not all. The easiest way to get to the picture you just created is to open the program Paint. Once open, press and hold ctrl (control) and tap "v" - this will paste the snapshot of the screen or window. You can crop, circle things, etc in Paint, then save the file or print it.

Manual for model M405 Gateway laptop

when you press "print", look at the screen as it gives you the option to print from page 1 to page...x. This is a user defined field. You can replace the numbers to print from page 9 to 40... just have to look at the box upon printing.
