I can't find my graphics card in my CQ5504F computer. It is a Compaq Presario made by Hewlett-Packard. Where can i find the graphics card in my CQ5504F computer?

Your computer has an integrated graphic card inside the motherboard itself. (NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE) so it will be a little chip on the board itself and not a card. You can add on a video card into one of the PCI express slots that came on the computer but I would suggest upgrading your computers power supply as it only came with a 250 watt one.

Which is better, the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU or the NVIDIA GeForce 6200?

The 6200 has dedicated memory and being a several years more recent design is easily the better of the two.

No problem I am wondering can I upgrade my hp pavilion dv2210 to a new mother board with a faster CPU speed and more graphics memory i have nvidia gforce go 6150 chipset now i want to go with something...

Please check with hp if they can allow you to do that ...Incase if you end up doing this you might not able to get your system up and running ...as you are goiing to change the system board, graphic card
and if you want to increase the speed for pc upgrade your RAM and check with manuals how much Ram do they support
Apartfrom that increasing the graphic card is good option but do check nowa days nvidia is offering built in RAM on graphic card

"Call of Duty" runs in slow motion on my PC.

Hi thomas,

Upgrading video cards will definitely increase in performance. You asked whether you should upgrade your entire PC or just the card and that really depends on the hardware you are running. If all of your hardware just barely meets the requirements than upgrading the videocard WILL give you a noticeable improvement but obviously it will not be as good as getting a better CPU and more RAM as well as a new card.

A good measure of a cards performance is based on the series of cards it is from. Your Geforce is from the 6000 series of Nvidia cards, they have 7000, 8000, and even 9000 series cards atm.

I would recommend something like an XFX Geforce 9800 GTX+ series card with 512MB of onboard memory, or any other competing card in the 200$ price range. This will definitely give you an increase in performance, and is a very popular card.

Hope this helps and please take a second to rate!

hi,

you may try this geforce 8800GTX. You may need to check also if this geforce video card is compatible with your motherboard.

By the way, may i know what type of system you have?

Driver

Even though it is a Nvidia GeForce card, you want to use the HP drivers. Laptop video cards are set up a little different then desktop video cards.
Here's the link to that drive page.

Will Princeton monitor VL1918 support NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE

Hi Alvie
I Just checked the specs on both the card and the monitor. It should work no problem. If for some reason you notice some lag or flicker in the monitor, go to this page and download the updated ForceWare graphics drivers.
