Question about Kodak EasyShare DX7630 Digital Camera
When turned on it reports "high camera temperature (camera will be shut down)" then it shuts down. This is in winter even in a cold / 18degC room. Anyone know how the temperature is sensed?? Is it via the batteries? I think the third terminal on the battery pack is a temp sensor for when its charging.
This worked for me: just hit the bottom hard with your palm and the top and sides, not the front or back. After 3 hits, the date screen came back on and it was fixed. This was after the other two solutions I found on this site failed, namely pushing the shutter down before the message comes on or blowing into the camera slot with the memory card removed.
