.000 gap for the coil?

their 196 cc 0.028-0.031 in.

The box the coil came in should have a paper card for setting the gap. It isnt written on the paper....it is the paper! Put it between the coil and the flywheel and bolt it up! If there isnt a gap paper in the box use a paper business card in its place. The stock gap size of 0.0125 inches is virtually the same as the 12 point paper used for a business cards in the US. I would recommend checking spark before reassembly just to be sure everything is right. Be safe and good luck!

you mean coil air gap ??? spark plug gap ??? should of included the engine numbers because that's not made by Toro !!!

.011 is the coil gap
.028 is the spark plug gap

The ignition point gap is 0.015" and the spark plug gap is 0.025". More specs here:

Use an air gap tool. Clean the area where the coil mounts on the engine with emory cloth to make sure you get a good ground. install the coil and lightly tighten screws (just over finger tight) slide in the air gap tool and align the coil, make sure both legs of the coil are even on the tool. Snug the screws and recheck the gap.

I guess you could have the ignition analyzed on an oscilloscope. Maybe a tech could see something then.
I always heard the only gap was the spark plug gap-the rotor has no gap-are you sure you got the correct rotor? And does it touch the top distributor cap coil wire tower?

the case , all problem of coil is coming from spark plugs .the gab of spark area must be 1.2mmfor new spark . normal sparkplugs should be change after 30 000 to 35 000 k/m there is some type 45 000 k/m some 90 000 k/m .when used more the coil need more high volteage the more hot coil so short life. the second some part shop are salening same part and can fix but diffrent part nuber like this Exampl( ....025 H ) and ( ...25Hg ) cab be use and fix easy but will not give stander life

Hi, gap is 8 thou. If this gap setting has not been altered from the factory it should be ok. Try a new sparkplug if you hav'nt already done so. Also try temporarily disconnecting the stop wire off the coil. If none of this works

0.026 inch, or 6-8 mm is the plug gap.

The ignition coil air gap range is 0.012 - .016"" or .3 - .4 mm. This is the gap between the flywheel and the ignition coil.

An easy way to gap your coil is use a normal business card between the coil and flywheel, tighten the screws and remove the card.

Not sure if this is what you are asking for but the gaps have no specific place other than never being in line with each other, They should be at least a quarter turn around the piston from each other
