I have a x6650 series printer and I am trying to scan a document but it keeps telling me that it can't retrieve my application list. However it has already scanned something for me today and...

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. If your printer is connected via the USB cable, disconnect it from your computer. Reboot your computer. Unplug and re-plug your printer from the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it your computer. Try to scan again.
If the printer is wirelessly connected to the computer, check the status of the WiFi light. Green light means your printer is connected to your network. Orange means otherwise.

Monitor is getting power but no sign of life. Even the On/Off button has no illumination.

Most cases of a monitor doing that would have something to do with the cables and ports. Ensure that your video card is mounted properly (don't do this while your computer is on), and check the plug in the back to make sure it's firmly attached. If all of this is alright, check the input ports on the back of your monitor, you may have a plug in the wrong slot or not in at all. Another attempt at solving the problem can be made by hooking the monitor up to a laptop or another computer to see if it turns on, if it does, there's something wrong with the computer itself. Anything wrong with the computer can include: An improperly mounted video card, a video card not receiving power (some cards require extra power, if you have an older card, don't worry about this), or your motherboard might have a physical issue (most likely not the case.)

I am told I need a cable to connect the printer to the computer but the printer is wireless

You wouldnt not as long as you have a wireless router hooked up so the printer can communicate with your pc. If you dont have wireless router then yes you would need wire. Even though printer is wireless it has to communicate wirelessly with something..

My nintendo wii is sayign unable to read disc

You might have a dirty lens. You can purchase a cleaning kit online or at your local game store. You should also get something to clean your game disks if they are dirty.

Loading photos to computer: error message says device is busy or not connected

I wish I could tell you what I did. ALl I did was unplug the cable several times from the computer and the camera. I used a duster to blow out any dust particles in the connection areas. I turned the computer and the camera on and off several times. It finally worked.
