It won't start (by 5 users)

My food processor has only been used once and instruction book lost. I can't get it to turn on.
I have the same problem Post a new problem

The power lights go on put the machine does not run.

We had the same problem. My father purchased a food processor...said it worked fine when he used it. When I tried to use it...didn't work....the switch button on the platform (the little round button right in the platform) was not making a connection when the container and lid were locked into place. It was like it had pushed down into the platform too far. If I used something to press HARD into the slot on the container (had to skew the lid to do it..) it WORKED!! It's definitely a defect. Unfortunately, my father did not turn in the warranty card! But check that out....it may be a defect that hasn't been discovered yet by others!

Be sure that the container and cover are both tightly in place. Otherwise, the safety device will not allow the blade to spin.
