Question about Washing Machines
I've read the one item on this site dealing with this problem, and it was helpful...to a point. But before I go any further with my efforts, I need to ask a question. First of all, when I tipped the machine up and saw that the belts seemed healthy, and that I could turn the pully both directions, I lowered the machine and opened the top. I tried to turn the tub by hand, but it would not move. My question is: does this indicate a brake problem? And, if so, how do I fix that?
The inner tub will not move, this is normal. When it goes into spin the brake releases. Let me know the model number and your complaint.
