Black screen on startup for macbook bro

It may be a problem with your light behind the screen or the driver's that produce the energy to light it up. Sounds like a hardware problem to me.

I can not access router with 192.168.1.1

1) Press "windows button" + R. 2) Write "cmd". 3) On the system console screen (black screen) write "ipconfig" 4) Search for a line starting with the words "Default Gateway". 5) Copy the numbers at the right of that line (those number are the IP addrees of the Default Gateway). 6) Open any web navigator. 7) Write the IP address of the Default Gateway in the address space.
Now you should be looking at the login screen of your router!!!

IBook never completes loading, stuck at ble progress bar

I am running off memory, but I belive you can also hold either Option or Command key at chime startup and it will give you a visual option with booting to hard drive or disk drive.

Try that and see if it will show the option to boot from CD.

I would suggest probably reinstalling OS X

must boot machine into DOS only from floppy disc. Once in, first run chkdisk.exe on hard drive to correct errors. If, after this produces no results, must repeat process, then re-install Windows.
