Water keeps overflowing, dont know how to clean the filter or where it is .

hi, read about your problem. The filter is located at the bottom of the front of washer. If its not visible, remove the bottom kick panel. Three screws at bottom. Take a shallow pan and place under filter. Slowly turn counterclockwise and water will slowly start to come out. When pan is partially full, empty. Be sure to close filter before doing this. Keep up with this procedure until no more water comes out, then unscrew filter and remove and clean. Reinstall and put kickplate back on. Hope this helps.

My hotpoint wd640 is leaking from the powder tray.

It depends what is securing the pipe.
Sometimes it is a plastic clip which you have to force apart, sometimes is a pozidrive screw head, for which you will need a pozuirive screwdriver, and sometimes it is a conventional jubillee clip.
It could be anyone one of these.

Soap powder remains in the soap compartment

Depending on which compartment the powder is remaining in, it could be low water pressure causing the problem.
If it is taking some down, but not all the powder, then try putting the powder towards the front of the compartment.
If all else fails then I suggest you get one of these dispenser balls that you put straight in the drum with the washing.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

WD640 Aquarious supersilent washer/dryer leaking from powder draw

during the rinse the machine uses a higher level of water, therefore check the door seal for holes,if the water is leaking from the soap drawer in the spin then this suggests that you may have a blockage in the outlet hose or in the sump filter, to check the filter remove the sump hose, the filter is hidden in the hose.
