Question about AT&T Cell Phones
My blackberry will not start up. I've tried two batteries and on power up the only thing that shows is a picture of a battery with a red line through it. The unit will not go past this screen. I have removed and reinserted both the sims card and battery.
I would have never believed it but after reading others posting this same problem I tried thier suggestion. Since the phone was a brick anyway, the idea was to drop the phone from a height of 4 foot and then turn it on. After several drops from shoulder height, I finaly tossed it at the ceiling and let it fall to the floor, distance approximately 8 feet. After three attempts the phone booted right up and has worked great ever since. The phone is a Blackberry model 8700c.
