Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
Okay, I have had my e250 Sansa for about a year now, and lately, when I plug my MP3 into the computer to recharge the battery or add more songs and then take it out of the computer and turn it on when I'm ready to listen, for some reason, the "refreshing database" status bar appears, but it takes forever to refresh (as though it is frozen), and occasionally, I find that some of my songs are missing as though they were deleted. What seems to be the problem?
Your device may be full or close to it.
Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.
You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.
- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.
Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.
Best of Luck.
