Question about Sharp AR-5316 Advanced Digital Imager Copier
I have problem with my copies SHARP AR-5015
The problem is Error code "L & 1" on display.
Thanks with your help...
L1 indicates a scanner feed problem. Make sure the scanner isn't locked in the shipping position. It is underneath the scanner where the paper exits the machine. Look for a plastic dial and turn it one way or the other.

Yes I like to confirm that "Wallen" is correct L1 is a Scanner Lock
however, let's take one more step shall we. What I like you to do si lift the ADF (Feeder Unit ) thats where you place copies on the glass.
See if you can see the lamp/scanner moving back and forth. If it doesn't then you have scanning issues. If you turn off and then on the machine and see the scanner moving yet an "L1" code still exist then you need to contact a Authorized dealer like ourselves to repair this issue : Let the service provider know that you have a Home Positioning Sensor" problem which is causing an "L1" error code.
