hi, i think you had given to unauthorized service center for change the housing. they did not connected your mic properly. otherwise they damaged your mic. you can go to nokia priority center and give for service. they will rectify this problem for you..and this is not your speaker problem, it is mic problem only...
Try adjusting the volume using the volume keys on the right side of the phone, try to lower it then make it higher if you are able to adjust it means there is no problem with the volume.try to have it checked in a repair shop cause in some cases the speakers migt have a defect or needs to be cleansed.
Thanks. It worked. The speaker cover had come loose and I snapped it back into place. Before that i did check the equaliser and the night before the settings and profiles. was going to chuck the phone back at the guy who sold it to me,
