You can try to use your name as your username or like adding up a 4 digit number to your username. example [email protected] or ( smith.john + your area code ) = [email protected]

Verizon phones sometimes have a habit of doing that. if it is a constant thing you may need to take it to verizon but if its a once and a while thing its just a hiccup in verizon's network.
try to uninstall then install it again. there might be some errors when you previously installed it. for some other games, they wanted you to defrag your hard drive where you install your games.
