if this does turn out to be a wart, do not pick at it, warts have seeds in them that will spread the wart to lots of places you do not want a wart! the seeds get under your fingernail and spread through contact. Check with your doctor, pharmacist or a walk in clinic.

This does not sound like a cyst. Are you sure that it is not a wart?

How to treat a Cyst?

not really a home DIY thing to treat

The majority of cysts are benign, but a few may contain malignant cells (Cancers )..and need a health professional

if external any size
a doctor can use a sterile syringe and extract the fluid
(needle biopsies.)
which then should have pathology tests
if internal
key hole or open surgery required to remove these depending on size

My finger has been feeling sort of jammed or uncomfortable for about a week. Now a small bump has come up at the joint. What is this?

OK, I'll bite. It sounds like a ganglion cyst. It's a benign, balloon-like bump under the skin. They can be annoying, but are not usually anything to worry about. If it doesn't go away on its own, or really bothers you, consult a doctor. They will probably recommend resting the finger, possibly splinting it for a time, or use a needle to drain the cyst.
Or it could be that BB your brother shot you with when you were 9, traveling through your body and finally trying to come out at your finger.

How do I get rid of a sebaceous cyst

A sebaceous cyst is a benign, closed, firm sac that lies in the skin and often forms a dome-shaped lump attached to the epidermis that can be moved over underlying tissues. It occurs primarily on the face, neck, shoulder, or chest (hair-bearing areas of the body). It is extremely common in the population and may occur at any age.
If you have a sebaceous cyst on the skin just consult a better dermatologist who treat your cyst in a better way. There are a number of options available that can cure your cyst at the same day. Sebaceous cyst treatment is a very painless and better way to cure rather than other remedies. If you want to cure in a perfect direction ask your skin specialist for taking an easy guide of removal.

Can you tell me how to access a broken hard drive, or how to fix it?????? It's a Western Digital 250 gb external hard drive.

You cannot fix a broken harddrive by yourself. You can access the enternal parts, however you will destroy any files you have stored in there if you do this. The enternal part are "Extremly" sensitive and any shock, static, finger prints, oil, liquid or dust will simply destroy it. However I do have a suggestion, take it to Best Buy, Office Depot, and they can do a File recovery. They will send your harddrive to a Lab, where professional technician in dust free enviroment with suits on will "try" to perform if they can recover your files. It is Costly, and however not promising. If they do, they will charge you costly. I done this, it cost me over 400.oo us just to get 24mb of files, only because it was picture's that was priceless that I did this.
