Phone keeps starting up but never gets to main screen
I have the same problem. Samsung Eternity. I was erasing the text messages in my sent folder, then my phone restarted. It kept restarting by itself, would show the AT&T 3G graphic, load, then restart again. This kept going until i took out the battery and waited for a few minutes. When I stuck the battery back in and started up, it kept doing the same thing. Not sure what to make of it. I've also tried starting it without the SIM card and Micro SD card.

From the main screen of your phone open you menu, then messaging, then messaging settings, then multimedia message, then MMS profiles. from there create a new profile and fill in these settings:
Set Name: Straight Talk Access Name: att.mvno Auth Type: Normal User ID: *leave blank* Password: *leave blank* Protocol: HTTP Home URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com Proxy Address: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com:80 Linger Time: 300 *leave advanced settings alone*
Save your profile and select it using the square on the right of the screen. You should now beable to recive multi-media text messages. Exit out to your phone main screen. Press menu, then Media Net, then Browser Settings, then Browser Profiles, then select the profile named straight talk by pressing the square on the right side of the screen. You should then be all setup to use all forms of data and messaging on your new Straight Talk plan. I hope this was helpful!
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.
When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!
Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......
If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.
