Good day sir/maam, adobe reader is needed to view a pdf file. Most likely your adobe reader installation is defective. There are other readers available on the internet. Checkout download.com for an extra copy of Adobe Reader. Try DeskPDF Pro. hope this helps

Can't print pdf documents- I get a message that I must install printer. I am able to print other word docs, just not pdf.

It could be your adobe acrobat reader responsible for PDF documents

If you can print using other applications definitely it has nothing to do with printer.

Try downloading latest version of acrobat reader from adobe website.
Unintstall the acrobat reader software from your PC in ARP (add remove programs)

reinstall the latest version of adobe acrobat reader

Try links below it may help you too

Hope I help you a bit

Thanks

Is there a users guide/manual for print workshop 2010

The manual for Master Clips Print Workshop is located on the CD. To access the manual, double click on My Computer then RIGHT click on your CD-ROM drive and choose Explore.

Double click on the Manuals folder. The manual file name is Mcpub.pdf. If you already have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system you should be able to simply double click on the file and it will launch the Reader and you will then be able to view or print the manual.

If you are not able to open the file you simply need to install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader by double clicking on the Setup.exe file located in the Manuals folder. After the Reader is installed, double click on the Mcpub.pdf file to view or print the manual.

Missing Resource File

Solution: Remove Adobe Reader 7.0 and reinstall it.
Remove Adobe Reader 7.0, reinstall it into the Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 6.0 folder, then try again to create a PDF document with Acrobat Elements 6.0.
1. Remove Adobe Reader 7.0 using Add or Remove Programs, and then restart.
2. Install Adobe Reader 7.0: At the Destination Folder panel, click Change Destination Folder and select Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 6.0. Click OK, then Next to continue the install.
Background information
Acrobat Elements 6.0 is designed to work with Acrobat Reader 6.0. In order for Adobe Reader 7.0 to work with Acrobat Elements 6.0, install both applications in the same directory. Install Acrobat Elements 6.0 first, so you can install Adobe Reader 7.0 and select Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 6.0 folder as the destination folder.

I have a pdf attatchment download on an email, that is text. i dont know how to get the printer to print it for me. i am new to using computors.

Do you have Adobe Reader installed? You need that to view PDF documents. You can download it here for free:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once you have installed that, open the document with the reader software. Inside the software, you will a print icon, and print away just like you would a Word document.

Hope that helps!
