Ksrg25fkss kitchenaid refrig door needs height adjusted up

Ksrg25fkss Kitchenaid refrigerator door does not seal properly. It is approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch too low. The freezer is flush with the top and seals perfectly. I can lift the refrigerator door up as it slides on the verticle hinge but I cannot see any way to adjust the height. Help

Have you looked at the mounting bracket for the lower hinge to see if it can be adjusted up. If not and there is as mush as 1/4 to 1/2" adjustment i suggest that you get a spacer with the inside diameter the same as the hinge pin or a tiny bit bigger and cut it to the size you need , then support the door up to a point that the bottom pin is not bound, remove the lower bracket and hinge pin, put the sleeve you cut on the hinge pin and reinstall the bracket.

freon. dirty coils under refrig. fan motor by comp. not working. make sure first of all comp. is running if not make sure freezer fan is. if that the case you need a relay starter overload or a compressor.

My KSRS25ILBL03 side by side - the freezer has lots of frost, the bottom of the freezer if full of ice. I removed the ice (hairdryer), found the drain to the bottom pan frozen. Cleared that, & water...

main reason for lots and lots of frost is door seals not tight all round.look along the length of them to make sure and adjust by pulling/pushing into shape, also are the doors level???? would also cause doors not to be airtight.(adjusters/feet are under both outside corners).

The refrigerator door seems to have dropped about 1/8 inch.

it is possible that the floor under the adjusting bolt has dropped, place a carpet protector cup under all the feet and then, using a level, make sure the unit sits square, the door may need some adjustment after this but you will see, that is a simple task.

jack up the two front leveling feet a bit to make it lean towards the back. or put a level on it to see how far it is off.
