Screen damaged the screen for my camera is damaged and i don t know how to get it repaired

I think you did something wrong while replacing the screen. It might look easy to replace a digital screen, but you should have the right skills to do so. The connections of a screen to a camera are very delicate and very small. just a bit to far to the left, right, front or back, could cause serious trouble, in not working or not correct working of the screen. Or worse permanent damage of the screen. I would try to go to a phone repair shop, because most of the repair guys there, know how to connect a screen. I hope they will help you and the screen or its cables are not damaged.

Yes the LCD screen can be repaired but this camera is a low cost camera but it may not be worth getting it repaired.
Take the camera to a digital camera repairer for a quote then you can decide whether to get it repaired or buy a new camera.

This LCD screen has been hit by a hard object, that is why there is a black spot. You need the screen to be replaced, a digital camera repairer can fix the camera for you.

The VX2100 is quite a complicated camera and can be easily damaged during disassembly. I don't know of any setting that would cause this to happen but you can try resetting the camera functions pressing the rest button to see if this goes away. Otherwise the camera should be repaired by a qualified technician.

I'm sorry to say that but the screen of your camera appears to be damaged.
May be YOU didn't drop it, but someone else might have. Most probably the screen was pressed hard against something (might be while stored). That's what the black circle and colour lines suggest. The colour lines are somewhat like colours you see when oil is put on water, isn't it? That means the LCD screen is damaged.
I suggest to take it to repair shop and get the screen replaced, specially if you don't have experience repairing cameras.

If your camera is less than a year old, call Samsung for a warranty repair. If the camera is more than a year old you will need to replace the lens mechanism.

Some may tell you to blow compressed air into the camera or bang it on a table; these things will either do nothing or damage your camera even more.

Don't know your camera model, so I don't know if we can help with the repair as we aren't able to get every lens for every camera.

The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

If your LCD doesn't light up then it's either the backlight or the LCD, you can open up the camera and check the cables before buying any parts. Some LCD screens come with the backlight, some don't; not sure if this one does or not.

IF it was water damage, you probably have corrosion on the main PCB and won't be able to fix it without replacing the board... open it up and check for corrosion!

LCD screen will be replaced to fix the camera. Novice should not attempt to take apart camera to avoid further damage.
Let me know if you need part number of required lcd screen or take camera in local camera repair shop for fix.

I have the same problem. Fine one day and a black screen the next. I called Vivtar and they were no help. They wanted me to send it in and let them repair it at my expense. don't think so. everything works perfect on the camera...but the screen is black and so are the pictures. Good Luck!
