Question about Sony DVP-CX995V Multi-disc DVD Player
Just moved also. Was working at old location, but now the carousel jogs back and forth a few disks and it just says please wait... Can't open or eject, either.
This is trhe secomnd major problem I've had with this unit. I previously sent it in for repair when it just said "cannot play this disk" for everything. Cost me $135 and took about 10 weeks to get it back from Texas. Now I'm ready to scrap it, but I want to retrieve my 350 or so DVDs that are i it.
Take the cover off of DVD player and get a Qtip and alcholol. Clean the head glass thing that reads the DVD and it will work fine. Just be gentle. This has happened a few times and works great. It is just dirty.
You might get away with just using the Qtip if you dont have cleaning alcholol.
IT WILL WORK.
