Um, confused... The foot control generally will not raise the presser foot. It should advance the feed dogs.
Testimonial: "Thank You for your attempt to help and sorry to confuse you. This machine has electronics, when the foot peddle is pressed in the front it raises the presser foot, when you put pressure at the back of the peddle it stitches...My foot peddle is not doing either???"

position the foot under the shaft making sure the horizontal pin on the foot is in line with the horizontal groove on the end of presser foot fitting on the shaft. Lower the pressor foot arm and it should snap right on. If not, press it up manually. the directions should be in your manual. Had the same problem.
Open the cover where the light bulb is.
Follow the presser foot rod up into the machine.
You will find a metal keeper with a set screw facing the now open end of the machine.
That set screw has most likely come loose.
Since the presser foot is spring loaded to the down position leave the presser foot raising lever in the down position.
With your flat bladed screwdriver, gently push the metal keeper to it's lowest position. If it does not go easy, loosen the metal keeper set screw a bit. Lefty loosey.
Tighten the set screw on the metal keeper. Righty tighty.
