Question about Hayward Navigator Pool Cleaner
My Hayward cleaner had some junk stuck inside, so I took it a-part. After I re assembled it, it has been working very badly. Problem is that it seems to be somehow tangling up the hose. After I untangle the hose, it takes less than one hour, and it is all tangled up in big nuts so that the cleaner is unable to go very far.
Can someone help?
PS: I am not sure if I have put the 'Red Wheel" in exactly the same position that it used to be before I had taken it apart.
Make sure the bearings are installed properly, there is a groove where the bearing sits and the bearing should have a spline that will match up with the groove in the turbine and housing. Also, check that the bearings on the a-frame spin freely and all the bearings are in place. Also check that the right and left pods are tightened sufficiently.
