Bought a dell inspiron n7010 laptop at a flea market and the bios is locked and dont know the password

Remove the cmos battery and move cmos jumper to clear for a few minutes. that should do it.

Use google to find the procedure of shorting the bios pins it sounds alot harder than it actualy is

eracing the hard drive wont work its a seting in the bios most times its admin or password if not then go into bios to remove it

I is my understanding that you can contact Dell with the service tag, and express code and get the master password to clear forgotten passwords.
