Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
It will not lite up, has power going to it. Turned off breaker and tryed to reset by powering back up and holding in on clock button for 15 seconds like manual said but doesn't work. Did not get no beeping sounds or error messages. Just went to fix supper and noticed it wasn't lit up. Took back cover off and checked to see that power was getting to circuit board and everything seems to have power. Don't see anything burnt or any thing. Checked plug in by disconecting and reconecting, still nothing. Tag says it is Spitfire Controls Inc. SF5321-S8309 Rev.
If it has 120 volts to the EOC, with a good line and nuetral, and it won't show the clock or turn the oven on it has to be replaced. Frigidaire doesn't offer repair parts for the EOC.

Hello lornalang - Typically "PF" indicates power failure. Once again try reprogramming the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, the range may possibly be experiencing a wiring failure or faulty EOC. Consult a professional to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs.

Hello Bill Robbins - From what you are describing it sounds like a wiring failure or a communication break failure between the power board and UIB has occurred. Error code F5, typically indicates that the EOC will need replacing. A certified technician will need to test the wiring harness between the ESC, UIB and EOC.

Hi bstetson328 - Try resetting the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately 30 seconds and turn on the unit. Select the self clean option, if it does not turn on then the temperature had tripped the internal sensor of the unit and needs to be reset. This usually has to be done by a professional since the back panel needs to be taken off and the power reset inside. Possibly the unit may have a communication problem with the EOC and I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
