Help. Me. To. Erase. Everything. On. My. iPad. Please. Help

Go to iTunes then sign in, connect your iPad to the PC/Laptop and factory reset the iPad, that is the only way it can be done!

You should not be able to get a virus on an iPad tablet by if you do, I would hard reset it or erase the whole iPad without backing it up. Then I would reinstall everything manually. If you back it up and restore it from backup, the virus will still be in your iPad.

Reset iPad:

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

To Reset iPad to factory settings:

1. Click on Settings > General > Reset
2. Then if you want to completely remove everything from your iPad click on 'Erase All Content and Settings'

Put ipad back to default settings. Settings menu--This will erase everything on the iPad so you can start as a new user. It will erase original users saved info so you can input yours

Try putting your iPad into DFU mode, and then restore it with a computer with iTunes installed.

Firstly you could go into your iPad settings>General>Reset(at the bottom)>Erase All Content and Settings. Secondly if the first one didn't work or you cant unlock your iPad install iTunes onto your computer plug your iPad into your computer and click reset.

It isn't often that Apple gives specific directions about how to fix your problem! Restoring the iPad will erase everything on it, so make sure everything on the iPad is stored elsewhere prior to restoring. To restore, connect your iPad to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. When your iPad appears under the devices menu, click the restore option under the summary tab. If you haven't backed up your data already, choose the back up option from the pop up window. Click the restore button to restore your Touch to factory spec.
