I would say try adjusting the carb screws further out,or start by winding all the way in then out 1,5 turns.

Its a pain in the ****,even for someone that does it for a living,my advice is take it somewhere to have it done. Im not being a ****,Im just telling you there is a lot that can go wrong doing it yourself on a trimmer.

Had the same problem. Take out your plug clean and regap.I got it started now but will not run on it's own lol. I will check it this weekend. good luck

The connection between the two shaft has a molded lead piece that the upper half is suppose to match with the attachment. If it not square you will need to replace the lower shaft.
