Does this cleaner heat up the water for steam? It is called a steam cleaner, but I do not see anything about how to regulate the temperature of the water to make the steam and so no one gets burned.

Steam is steam is steam - it has a temperature of 212 degrees F and if you go any lower it is no longer steam - condenses back to water. Capiche? If you pressurize the steam you can then raise its temperature to a super heated condition. How do you think a pressure cooker works??????

Must likely the brush motor is bad. The top cover has to come off to check it, this is where the tank sits on. Part # 2036757 and is #35 in the pix.

SOURCE: McCulloch Steam Cleaner Problem

I have a similar problem but the light is not even coming on. This was a refurbished unit and the retailer sent a replacement so I can get into the broken one and see what's there.
Anyone have any ideas on how these work? Is it just off/on or are there saftey switches/fuses/breakers etc?

There is something wrong with your Ladybug. I have the TidyVap, made by the same company...having problems with the water not being sucked down to the heater, not sure why...but I've been openin gup the bottom and adding water instead of putting the water in the top. I would get your steamer in to be looked at.

SOURCE: My Bissell Pro Heat 2X steam cleaner is not releasing the water

Have you tried cleaning out the small filterfrom the reserve tank? Also, check the tank/resevoir valve is operating properly, when you take it out to fill try to make water release from tank.

Polti steam cleaner water empty light staying on

If the water empty light is staying on when the water tank is full in your Polti Pro95 steam cleaner, it could be due to a malfunctioning float valve or a faulty water level sensor.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the float valve: The float valve is responsible for regulating the water level in the steam cleaner. If it is stuck or malfunctioning, it could be causing the water empty light to stay on. To check the float valve, remove the water tank from the steam cleaner and inspect the valve for any signs of damage or blockages. If the valve is damaged or blocked, replace it.
  2. Check the water level sensor: The water level sensor is located inside the steam cleaner and is responsible for detecting the water level in the tank. If it is malfunctioning or faulty, it could be causing the water empty light to stay on. To check the water level sensor, you will need to disassemble the steam cleaner and inspect the sensor for any signs of damage or wear. If the sensor is damaged or worn out, replace it.
  3. Check the wiring: If the float valve and water level sensor are functioning properly, the issue may be with the wiring. Check the wiring between the sensor, float valve, and control board for any signs of damage or wear. If you notice any issues, repair or replace the wiring as needed.
If you are not comfortable performing these troubleshooting steps, it is recommended to take your Polti Pro95 steam cleaner to a certified repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.

I have a Euro-Pro steam cleaner model SC410. The water heats up fine, but no steam comes out of the hose. Need wiring schematic to see if wired correctly. Any suggestion?

The wiring won't have changed unless someone was fiddling with it. If the water heats up, that means the element is fine. So the problem is whatever release the steam.

Repair Polti VT Evolution steam cleaner doesn't work

Steam nozzle/lines are probably clogged. The minerals in the water will eventually clog up the system, you need to use only Distilled water whenever possible to eliminate as many minerals from the water as you can. If the screws are spinning and not coming out, you will have to pry up slightly on the cover the put pressure on the inner parts so they will come apart. Easiest way is to push something like an old credit card betwen the seams and pry up carefully. go slow and easy so you won't break anything.

No steam

I used the straw to prime the lines and 50/50 mix of vinager and water and it worked perfectly. I then mixed the water container with the same mix and ran it through the system. All works fine now.
