Try removing the battery for about 20 seconds and then put it back in and restart the phone. This is a form of a hard reset but it will not erase anything.

My blackberry curve 8520 is at low battery and wont charge or show the charge lightning bolt

King, many times this happen, don't worry, put your device on charge 2 to 5hours it will solved, if problem persist, change battery, because this sounds me a only battery problem. there is one another way (if you are not sure don't try this) we call that direct charging
first take one charger who has light on head and then cut the charging connector of charger and then you will see two colours of wires separate the black and red wires (red wire is positive line and black is negative line) and then connect to current supply but make sure there wire are separated otherwise it will have a short circuit and then take battery and search + and - connector and then red wire connect on battery positive connector and black on negative connector if you connect properly you will see the charging light are getting dim. that mean it is charging, do direct charge for 10 min and then switch on your device with battery and put in charge normally. this will solve your problem. if my sugetion was helpful please rate it.

Blackberry curve 8300 suddently died

Try somebody else's battery, if the problem persists, it's most likely a logic board issue. There are blackberry repair websites that show you how to do the replacement yourself, otherwise here is a service that can repair any Blackberry Bold, Storm, Pearl, Curve, 8800 for screen, lenses,
track balls, usb ports, waterdamage etc.
The website is: Blackberry Repair

8300 wont boot up

Have you tried a different battery? Is the battery swollen, indicating it is damaged?

Have you tried booting up the phone with only a charger connected (remove the battery), this will tell you if it is the battery or the phone.

My Blackberry curve 8320 won't turn on it just has a battery icon with a red line through it on screen. A new battery was tried and the problem still exists.

This usually means the bb and battery got a little wet or has other issues. Try these solutions in order. They go from easisest to hardest. NOTE: If you have an insurance policy on the bb probably best just to take it in.

1. Remove the back cover. Remove the battery and the SIM card. Wait 30 seconds. Replace SIM, battery and back cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

2. If that doesn't work, allow the bb to remain unplugged but ON for about 24 hours to drain the battery. Remove back cover and battery. Allow battery and opened bb to sit in a dry environment for 24 - 36 hours. Relace battery and cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

3. If that fails, retry step 2 but allow battery to FULLY drain then dry out again.

4. Take in to cell store.
