Open email and if you want to delete each msg just click edit and when the circle shows beside each message mark all msg to delete and click trash at the bottom of the screen. If you don't want to delete every msg you will need to mark the ones to be deleted in the circle and click trash. Remember, after deleting many msg at some point the msg in trash will also need to be deleted.

On the iPad, goto settings, then Mail, contacts, agenda. Then on the right side of the page, add new account. click that and setup the account you want to access.
If you have the account working, be aware if you delete a mail while working n an other device, like tablet or computer, the mail can't be opened on any other device.
