There are six screws that attach the screen bezel. Remove the white screw covers and then the six screws. The bezel is now ready to remove, gently pry the bezel from the lid casing with a plastic screwdriver or an ipod tool. When the bezel is removed, you will see 3 screws holding the hinge to the lid. You will need to remove these screws and one underneath (bottom of the laptop).
It will be next to the battery and holds the hinge. Gently pry the power control panel and remove the connector, set it aside.
You will see 2 screws holding the hinge to the laptop. You will remove the hinge and replace with another one.
Replace in the order of removal.

Dunt open and close lcd too muh otherwise it will damge your lcd cover and lcd bezel than it will cost u more. Remove all lcd screw cap and remove screws than slowly pull out lcd bezel and check is really hinges is gone or screw is loose. For Key u have to check it that any of latch of behind key is broken or fine. If its fine than just put that parallel to other keys and press it. it will seat back on jumper.

Replace key on logitech illuminated keyboard

Since this happened to me accidently a few times and I saw this thread, I thought my 25 cents could help others. I like the keyboard and it is troublesome to send it back for repair for a little thing like this. In my case, I was left with the square black key top and a pair of white hinges detached. You should replace the hinges properly in the base board first and after that press the key top gently and uniformly until you hear a couple of clicks. Make sure you are not irritated when you start this job and do not apply extreme force. It needs a little patience and fiddling. Unless you are lucky or an expert, it takes a number of times until you get it.

The two hinges need to be inserted in the metal clips of the base only after they are put together, not individually. Each hinge has two little rods on the narrow side and two little rods on the wider side. The wider side rods face up and will attach to the key top later. By now, you should be sure which rods of the hinges are up, towards you. Next, the hinges have to be attached to each other in the middle, like a foldable beach stool. You observe that one of them has a middle pin on each side, whereas the other has a corresponding cavity in the middle.

At the time you attach the hinges to each other in the middle, it has to be in such a way that the top part of each of them is smooth, that is, the part that will contact the key top. The side of the hinge that contacts the base has a little tongue between the two narrow rods. This tongue should face down in both hinges. You are now ready to place the little beach stool in the keyboard base.

In my case I inserted the hinge with the open part into the right metal clip and next inserted the rectangular opening to the left metal clip of the base. Whichever you do first is easy, but the second one might need a little help with a tiny screwdriver, or a tool with a similar effect. You might need a few attempts.

Now, your little hinges are attached to the board base and are not flat. They actually look like the legs of an open beach stool. Note which side of the key top is correct, it is annoying to go back to the beginning because you put the character upside down. It is time to press the key top gently and uniformly until you hear a couple of clicks. Unless there was serious damage to the board base or the parts we just mentioned, the key should work as smooth as the other keys.

How to unlock my door..i left my key inside?

try using a credit card or your license to slide between the stop and the door to try and push the strike back into the lock. Or, if the hinge pins are on he outside, you can take a screwdriver or something and pop the hinge pins out to remove the whole door.

One of the hinges on the door seal has come off and the door will not close properly. Model #KFCS22EVMS This model has the sealing mechanism on the left door where a small panel slides into the body...

Open the little metal screw on the larger hinge that is between the top and bottom hinges. This will allow to pull the seal all the way out. There is wiring behind that middle hinge so watch not to damage it. Then , you can realign the 3 hinges in their place and replace the screw in its position. It takes a little bit of patience to realign the 3 hinges but it's very doable.

Frig door does not stay closed

When you say that it will not stay closed, what exactly do you mean? That the door seal does not meet the cabinet, that there is a gap? Is the door warped? Does it appear to be out of line with the hinges on the top and bottom? Is the space around the door when shut and looking at the front pretty much equal all the way around? I mean, when shut, does it appear that there is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the cabinet showing all around the door when shut? Has someone swung or leaned or tugged on the door, or closed the door or tried to close the door and something was keeping either the top or the bottom pushed out? There are adjustments on the hinges, at the attachment points to the cabinet and to the door itself. You may be able to adjust the hinge plates in or out and up and down to make the door seal better. And the box should be about half a bubble out of level, front to back, or with a slight angle front to back, in order to help the weight of the door seal to the cabinet of the refrigerator. If the door is warped, you may be able to determine which way it is bent, out at top, out a bottom, side to side, ect. and take it off the hinges and gently attempt to straighten this bend. If you are careful, and can determine there is warping at the top or bottom, you may be able to "straighten" the door while attached to the hinges. Gentle pressure is the procedure, GENTLE, GENTLE. Don't get the BIG HAMMER out and go to banging away. Just a push up here, and a tug down there, and you may be able to cure this fairly easy. You must first determine which way the door is warped, and then move it back the other way. It should seal the gasket to the cabinet, not so much attach the door to the cabinet edges, but a firm seal that takes a tug to open. And no air gaps. Are the products inside the refrigerator "sweating". This is the drawing of warmer room air into the cabinet and condensation forming. The door needs to seal in order to keep the cold air in, and the outside air OUT. I an extreme warping, you may have to replace the door, or use bungee straps to keep it shut. which will be a pain, removing those every time you need in it. I would try and determine where it may be bent or warped, and gently bend it back the other way a little at a time till I have the seal connecting all the way around. Once there, QUIT. No more bending. When the seal connects all the way around, you are finished. Problem solved. I wish you luck and hope that you can solve this fairly easy. Remember, be Gentle. It will warp easily. And no hanging on the door!

Kleenmaid Stainless Steel oven door will not close properly.

The door hinge is probaly broken or could just be the spring. Open the door to the 45 degree position (halfway) and pull on the door. It should come off the hinge assembly. Slide out the oven a little to access the screws for the hinge to see what is broken or wore out.

Help

make sure the lid is making contact with the switch when the lid is closed, listen closly for a "click" noise upon closing the lid, if you dont hear anythig the lid is no tbeing recognized as closed therefore will not enter a spin mode for safety reasons.somtetimes by pressing down harder on left side of the lid you can get it to startup. if this is the case a simple solution may be in order, after lifting the lid make sure the scrrws attaching the lid to the hinges are tight, then if you place your hand under the left rear side of the lid you feel the lid actuator( its the opposing side to the door hinge) with a nutdiver( or similliar hollow pointed metal object) slide it over the metal hinge and apply force to slighty bend to toward the reare of the machine( as you apply pressure the lid will want to push against you , thast s normal its the hinge your bending) after slighty bending now see if tyou can here the click?

definatley the display close power switch, located under switch/speaker panel.im not sure if the hinge activates it or not. looked into mine and found part# tag interfering w/ power switch board, cleaned it up, working good now. discovered this by gently pulling top left and pushing lower right of display, it would flicker.thaught it was closed probably a result of closing it with right side after every shut down.im trying to close only from middle..i also try never to pick it up from one corner, plastic is very bendy and screw comes loose.two hands always, specialy where rom is.i think your monitor thinks its closed. while black hold it under bright light and you can see enough to navigate.tried svid, used it for safemode driver check, took several hours before i got to hinge. i hope this is your troubles as they cost nothing to repair.my warrenty left 22 days ago.i was sweating.hope this helps.

I think there is a problem with the spring that is attached on the left hinge of the door. Try elevating the door for a couple of milimeters with some rubber object. that should help
