Question about Uniden BC92XLT Handheld Scanner
Sent it to uniden once and they said nothing was wrong with it but its doing the same thing again. how do I fix?
You didn't mention what the scanner is doing when that display pops up, but here are two possible fixes.
With the scanner powered ON,
- Press HOLD to stop scanning
- Press FUNC
- Press and hold L/O until the scanner beeps twice.
This will clear all locked out channels.
For a COMPLETE reset,
- Turn the scanner power OFF
- Turn the scanner power ON while pressing and holding the 2, 9, and HOLD keys
- After about 3 seconds the display will show CLEAr.
CAUTION: the above will clear/erase all information that you have programmed into the scanner, including frequencies, and reset the scanner to the original factory settings.
I hope this info helps.
