SOURCE: 1994 sporster 883 rocker box bolt torque specs and order

unless you have the motor out its near if not impossible to get a torque wrench on the bolts so what most do use blue loctite on your bolts and draw all bolts down evenly till you make metal to metal [cover to rocker] then maybe 1/8 turn more the key is even torque

SOURCE: Once I install the chain

Hello manley. your cover may be warped but before you replace it try reducing the tension a wee bit so that you can lift the chain, in the middle of the bar, so that the teeth are above the bar.
You may just be tensioning the chain too muc. J.

SOURCE: 2002 gti sea doo wont turn over on the first try

if you have one of the kill cords that is round and it snaps onto a round button that has a silver dot in the center that when the kill lanyard is snapped into place makes a connection to the silver part inside of the kill lanyard itself. most the time its because it is still verifying that it is the right key. they are programed to match you CDI box/ignition module of your ski. this prevents theft. if you clean both the key and the button the key connects to with some rubbing alcohol to insure a good clean connection will most likely solve the problem. when you put the key on the ski you should hear a beep then wait 5 to 10 seconds before hitting the start stop button . that gives the ski time to recognize the key is in fact the correct key to the ski.. hope this helps

Why is my 2004 john deere buck 650 leaking so much oil when it is running?

The engine in a 2004 JD Buck should be a Rotax 650, which is a 2 cylinder 4 stroke water cooled engine generating 62 hp. With that said, the most likely cause of oil in the air filter and leakage from the top of the motor is excess pressure in the crankcase. A cracked block is a possibility, but the most likely culprit is worn piston rings. A compression test should help narrow it down, but in either case you are looking at a complete tear-down of the engine.

I have a 2004 sea doo with a starting problem. It will turn over 3 or 4 times and then just click. I have a new battery and have cleaned all terminals within reach.

Perhaps.

I suggest you test the theory by bypassing the relay and/or energising the starter motor manually using a jumper lead, a suitable screwdriver or similar or a remote starter switch.

Rope ***** around shaft

Question, if it is a question not a statement, is way to ambiguous for a decent answer. Much more info needed. The answer to this would be to simply remove the rope.

How do I replace the bearings in a 1hp pool motor its a st1102

Remove the motor from the pump. Unscrew the 4 through bolts located at rear of motor. Tunr the 1/4" hex screw located at the front of the motor next to the shaft 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
Tap the front housing until it is removed (may need a bearing puller to remove it. Once this is removed, use a bearing puller to remove the bearing. Next, use 12" long piece or 3/4" metal electrical conduit to tap the new bearing into place making sure that the conduit is only coming in contact with the RACE of the bearing (the inner most track).

Reassemble.

Note: A molded bearing puller is needed fot this job. A formed puller will just bend/break.
It would cost less money to pay $75 to have this done by a proffesional rather than buying a $100-$200 tool just to try to do it yourself.

How do I connect the wiring to my igniter switch on a patio 2 Tec grill?

Hi, You will need to remove the front face plate. There are 4 phillips head screws holding the face plate on - one in each corner. Remove the screws wth a #2 phillps head screw driver. Once the face plate is removed you will have access to the orange pilot assembly wire. Simple plug the orange wire into the igniter on the face plate. Bolt the face plate back in place.

With your gas supply off - turn your rotary ignter and make sure there is a spark present at the pilot assembly.
