Cools for a little while than condensor shuts off and it stops cooling
Compressor is overheating. You need to make sure your indoor and outdoor coils are clean. Sometimes it just needs a vacuum job. If you hose the outside coils, be sure to do it from the inside out. Hosing from the outside will just pack the dirt in farther.
