Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Ellen, Is it possible that the ink you replaced is not genuine cartridge?
If this is so there are chips on cartridges that always show as empty when a cartridge is actually empty. Some compatible cartridges will not resetr the unit back to print mode. Sometimes you may get a long winded mewssage about if you want to continue and take the risk of using non genuine cartridges you void the warranty.. selecting OK will let you print on. Otherwise you might need to replace cartridges with genuine ones. Make sure cartridges are seated corredctly Turn off power after putting them in and restart the printer.
