Question about Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
Same problem as others, I get the Gateway Logo on power on & the VGA plug graphic then the screen goes black with no PC screen or on screen menu displayed. I did unplug for five minutes and plug back in but the problem remained.
Bad caps, be REAL CAREFUL when take the bezel out, you can easily damage the small ribbon cable attached to the front bezel.
Capacitors kit: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/ he can make you a set of caps for you.

Tips for a great answer:
Mar 07, 2011 | Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
This is a common problem with many LCD monitors. The
printed circuit board that provides a stable voltage for the monitor to operate
from starts to fail. The PCB can be replaced, when/if they are available, or repaired
in most cases at a much lower cost. for more information on this email me at
