My haier washing machine, model hwmp75-918 is displaying the E2. i have googled for answers and they say its the lid but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my lid and my machine is 2 years old.

It takes a couple if tries. Have to press it twice to get down low and have to have at high or low speed.

Hi.

E2 is not an error code. It means that the Spin only mode has been started and that the cycle is now over.

To reset the machine try disconnecting power (trip circuit breaker), connecting back, then hold down the Super Spin Dry button while you start the machine at the same time (press On while holding the other button). You should hear three beeps and the machine will be reset to initial settings.

Error code F03 indicates wash thermistor open/short circuit.
Check all connections on thermistor and associated leads.
Hope thisn helps.

You replaced the lid. Did you transfer any possible latch devices from the old to the new lid. Some lids have a magnet that has to be transfered. That magnet activates the switch. Some lids have a plunger or arrow shaped device that needs transfered that goes into a hole to activate the lid switch. Hope you still have the old lid to look at.
