Is there a way to stop the Alcatel Streak from dialing numbers when I am on a call.

When I am talking to someone, the phone disconnects and calls another #. I can't afford another phone and it keeps doing this.

SOURCE: Uniden cordless phone. No dial tone.

Hi peddler65, did you plug your phone into another area to see if there is a dial tone. Then if not call the phone company or find the D-mark (where your dial tone ) comes into your home and put a jack on that and plug a phone in with all phones in the house unplugged.

Thanks.

SOURCE: The phone rings, states the number calling but you

The switch that the handpiece activates is not working. Could be optical, magnetic or physical. It may need cleaning, adjusting or a wire connection repaired. Also check the curly cord and its connections between the handpiece and telephone.

SOURCE: On incoming calls rings once then stops then

The first symptom of an incoming call ringing once then stopping is called trip and ring which is caused by a partial short on the phone line. The second symptom is called crosstalk caused by the two phone lines being shorted to each other. The service provider is most often the cause of these troubles. Often this type of trouble happens during wet weather or shortly after. The third symptom of static on the line cna also be caused by the same conditions. All three symptoms are likely caused by the same trouble from the service provider. Advise you report the trouble to your service provider.

How tto make a call from Alcatel Advanced Reflexes 4035 Corded Phone using another extemsion

Hi,
this feature's name is "substitution". You can do this if your pbx is Omnipcx Enterprise.
Usage:
1. Dial the code of the feature "substitution"
2. Dial the extension number which you want to substitute
3. Dial the four digits secret code of this extension. (default=0000)
If this was successful you would get a dial tone which was the same as the remote extension did off hook and could make call.
Thanks
