No, They are set in rubber bushings. They will move. New struts don't move a whole lot anyway. But if there is no movement, you may have gotten bad struts. Drive it and see how it does on the road.
Check Ur air intake valve or Ur MAP censore some times when u change an electrical components other censors fail because they have been in use for so long that they get wear and tear and when u install a new part that new part may b working to its full potential but Ur other components may not b working to their full potential maybe a lil cleaning may do the trick Try disconnecting and connecting them on to catch a better connection
R2 bushing call tm engineering they make replacement bushing for the supra otherwise you will have to buy all new suspension arms as no ball joints or bushings are replacable
This may or may not be the cause could be one bent part but I would at least check the bushings out I bet they are hard as a rock I am in the middle of changing mine now. PIA
