The fuel line from the tank ( the one with the fuel filter on the end ) goes to the car inlet ( the one nearest to the pump cover held with a single cross head screw) the other connection on the car goes to the purge bulb ( the connection with the shorter tube) the other connection on the purge bulb ( longer connection) goes back to the fuel tank. The thing to remember is the bulb pulls fuel from the carb, into the bulb and delivers back to the tank.

This sounds like the carb needs to be adjusted like it is letting to much fuel into the cylinder. There is supposed to be fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to make it fire. If there is to much fuel what will happen is that it will just build up in there and the air wont get hot enough as it compresses to start the engine.

SOURCE: How to you repalce a fuel line on a weedeater gb1/22v leaf blower

When replacing fuel line, make sure that you have the correct size lines. Depending on the size of your engine, the lines may vary in size. The primer bulb line will sometimes be larger in diameter than the fuel line to the carburetor. The primer bulb line will be the shorter of the two. When replacing the fuel line, make sure you have enough line to go from the bottom of the tank up to the carburetor. Give yourself a couple extra inches to work with. Cut one end at an angle, this makes it easier to feed down through the hole. Continue feeding the line until it comes out of the gas cap hole. Then cut the end of the line square again and attach the fuel filter that goes on the end of the line. Place the filter back in the tank, then adjust the line so that the fuel filter lays comfortably at the bottom of the tank. Then attach the other end of the line, (where you inserted it), to the carburetor, cutting off any extra line you may have.

SOURCE: routing of fuel lines for a weedeater bv200 type

The line with the filter goes to the bottom of the carb. The other line goes to the outlet side of the primer bulb and the other line from the primer bulb goes to the top of the carb (The primer sucks gas through the carb).
Good luck!
Ps. if you are not sure which nipple of the primer is the outlet port then put your finger on one of the ports and push the bulb. If the bulb stays ridged then that's the outlet and if it collapses but doesn't fill but up then that's the inlet side.

Husqvarna 323L Line Trimmer - Runs for about 5-10 seconds,

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

Youwillneed to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner.Makesure the small screen is free of debris. (Should be able to seedaylightthrough it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance on:
1. Fuel line replacement or
2. Carburetor kit replacement

Just let me know.

Clean the carburator, check fuel stems making sure they're not screwed in to far or bent. Buy a new choke assembly and new fuel filter.
