I had one. Don't think you calibrate it. Reading is relative to it's mounting base. To change the direction reading, you would need to rotate the base.

ActiSense makes a programmable multiplexer that should do this for you. It is called an ActiSense NDC4 USB. Not sure is the Standard requires a separate compass signal, but if not, and the Standard can use a standard 38000 baud AIS data stream, the NDC4 will work for you. 847-746-0100

GLUE THE SMALL POSTS EXACTLY IN PLACE AS THEY BROKE OFF ,DRILL A HOLE VERTICALLY THROUGH THE POSTS ,SAME SIZE AS HOLE IN THE SS WHASHER, (HOLE OF THE SCREWS)ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BACKPLATE ,INSTALL A STAILLESS SCREW WITH HEAD ON THE REAR OF THE BACKPLATE AND NUT ON THE WASHER SIDE TRIM TO EXACT LENGHT USE LOCKTITE FOR NUT.
