I have to replace the program Digital room thermostat T£6620B1008. Makers Honeywell, they no longer make these, what can I buy to replace it, I have someone that will wire it in, can you help please

If you are looking for a programmable, any 5,2 programmable will work(5 weekday 2 weekend). This means when programing you program the week days and weekends separate. Or, any non programmable should work.

All digital thermostats are "universal" for the most part. Remove what you have and verify that you have 4 wires connected or 5 wires. If it's a heat pump it's possible you have more wires then that. Depending on what you have, this will determine what you will want to purchase. Most hardware stores/home improvement carry t-stats.

SOURCE: Intertherm to Honeywell thermostat

Typically if you have a yellow wire in the "y" terminal blue is used as common or "c". As far as your jumper from rc to rh, that will depend upon what type of heat you have. If all of your heat and cooling come from your packaged unit outside, yes you will need the jumper. If this does not work maybe you have a bad breaker or transfomer.

SOURCE: changing a room thermostat a potterton to honeywell t6360

I think I've done it - but don't take this as absolute truth.
For the Honeywell T6360B the original Potterton wiring should be rewired as follows:
Brown [Live] goes to terminal 1; Blue [neutral] goes to Terminal 2 and the yellow/green [which is not an earth but a switched live - i.e. gives live to the heating system when the thermostat clicks in] goes to terminal 3.
Obviously all done with the power isolated and when it was switched back on we had heating again :o)
It's been on over two hours now and all seems fine.

Sounds like the programming on your thermostat needs to be reconfigured, but I need more information like the Honeywell Model number which can be found behind the front cove, but becareful to unsnap the t-stat properly not to damage the pins that connect t-stat to its base.

Honeywell TH8320u Vision Pro 8000 Digital keeps calling for heat

Hi,
If the thermostat is not over shooting the temperature than don't worry about it.
These thermostats are very sensitive and will turn the heat back on even before the degrees drop on the display. Often they will shut down before the display changes also. You can change the sensitivity of the thermpstat if you read the directions and change the cycles per hour to a less number. There is an installers program in there that you need to push a combiunation of buttons to get too. The instructions tell you how to do that also.

Hopefully you did not throw away the instruction manual for your t-stat.. :-)

Cannot set heat setting by using "hold" feature

make sure it is not telling you room temp, some of the Honeywells, will display room temp over desired temp. check that, if it wont let you switch temp than buy a new one, if you dont have a heat pump a new cheap stat is around 20.00.
