Prints really light on left side of paper

I have an HP Laserjet 5100tn, that has previously been printing fine, here recently though when the paper comes out, the left side of it is really light, I have tried cleaning everything, and even tried changing toner cartridges.

Re: Prints really light on left side of paper

I had the same problem. I took the laser assembly apart (located at the top of the printer under the cover). There are mirrors inside the assembly and they tend to get dusty. My mirrors were much more dusty one side than the other. I cleaned the mirror and the print was the same across the sheet.

You might need to replace the fuser. You can purchase the mainteance and fuser kit from HP or other like ompanies.

Why does the 2550n printer not printing fully in the left column

Is the print quality poor on left side for all colors? You may have one bad cartridge. Create a paint document with Yellow, Magenta and Cyan squares on the left side and see if one color prints better than the others. You can also gently shake the cartridges to redistribute toner.

I have HP laserjet 1018 printer and it makes noisy sound when it prints. But it prints fine though. What causes making this noise?

The noise is probably due to the print heads aligning and clicking. To try to make this noise a little quieter, clean and align the print heads.
Good luck!

Why is it printong crooked?

The problem can be with the software program. May be the formating of that particular text has been accidentally changed to italic. Or print the same on a plain A4 paper or slightly bigger paper than the check and see if you get the same problem.
