It is running extremely slow. It has a hard time connecting to the internet. I have deleted all the temporary internet files, etc. Everytime I open Outlook it tells me that a personal file did not close correctly.

Go to Website of Manufacturer of the printer and download and install the latest firmware.
If that don't fix the problem than try another driver if that don't resolved the issue.
Than print self test configuration page if self test configuration page is also slow than replace the fuser.

My computer is getting really slow now. what can i do?

Actually sir there are a lot of reason why a computer becomes slow..First because of viruses, secondly your computer is very populated with files and applications and your hardware devices cannot accommodate it. But since you're connecting to the internet i know you have a good antivirus..perhaps i recommend you to try this 1. examine your files and application and choose the files you frequently used and not frequently used. 2. delete unwanted files and applications that you already didn't use so that it will free hard disk space and virtual memory of your computer. 3 go to recycle bin and empty it. freeing hard disk space and virtual memory can help your computer perform much faster...Reply to this post if your problem are not solved..Tnx for using fixya..

My netbook runs slow and freezes

There are many reasons for slowness and freezing. Computer specs (ram, processor speed, connection speed)) could be not enough for today's internet.

Internet cache, temporary internet files, temporary files should be cleared.

Try defragmenting the hard drive.

And try downloading a program like CCleaner from Piriform.

Torrent files are saved on my hard drive but

These files are usually contained in the temporary internet file's solder. For opening, go to Run and type %temp% and enter. A folder will come up showing all internet files. Delete all and reboot the Mac. This will speed it up. Don't worry, temporary internet files are not useful. they can be retained when you get something from internet. When you download, the files from internet will be downloaded with some accompanying temporary files. Delete them after the download is complete. After downloading, they are completely loss of Space on Desktops.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

Slow starting Dell Inspiron 2650

The first thing I would look at is hard drive free space. Almost universally, critically slow systems have a hard drive with no free space. What most people don't seem to understand is that Windows requires a minimum of 10% of the hard drive to be free space to allow the operating system room for swap files and other temporary files needed to run the OS efficiently. This can be made worst by the fact that Windows only reports the size of a file on the hard drive, not the amount of space actually allotted to the file (This has to do with cluster size and the fact that only one file is written to any part of a cluster and in this case it is small files that waste a lot of space)

Things you can do.

1. Run disk cleanup, and get rid all temporary files.
2. If you use an email client like Outlook/Outlook express, delete unwanted emails, then empty the deleted items folder.
3. Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, delete all cookies and temporaty internet files.
4. Go to add/remove programs in control panel, uninstall any programs or applications you do not use.
5. If you have a large amount of pictures or music files on the system, burn them to CDs or DVDs and free up that space.
6. Go to System Properties, Advanced Tab, performance section, settings button, select Adjust for Best Performance, Click Apply, Click Advanced TAB, Virtual Memory, Change Button, Select System Managed Size, Click Apply close then reboot.
7. Go to MY Computer, right click C:, Click Properties, Tools Tab, Defragment the Hard Drive
8. Adjust power management to Maximum perofrmance.
