Question about Danby DPAC8020 Air Conditioner
I purchased a 10000 btu unit in 2008. It worked fine cooled my bedroom not issues.
Took it out last week and set it up and now after a couple of hours it stops cooling and error message PI come on.
If you empty the bottom pan it will cool for about and hour and do the same thing. Their is only a small amount of water in the pan when it is emptied.
This never happened last year.
Check the water level sensor's position. has it become loose from its mount and touching the water sooner then it should? it could be a probe or a float
