Question about Logitech (9633260403) Game Pad
I've got the gamepad mentioned above.
It was working fine, but it started to have some problems with connection, and I thought it was the batteries.
Changed batteries and now the pad will not connect. The receiver just blinks, as if it were scanning for the pad, and it doesn't connect even when pressing the "Connect"button in front of it.
The pad will not so anything, but, if the receiver is unplugged or the pc is off, the pad will blink the red light scanning for a receiver. When I plug on the receiver, the red light will instantly go off, stop blinking, and no connection is done.
Please help me, I bpought this pad 7 months ago with a 6 months warranty, it seems I'm out of luck at all!
Thanx a lot.

SOURCE: Gamepad does not work
I saw your post and searched on, until i found a somewhat similar problem on ms support.
I adapted the solution and did the following (without understanding what i did)
first i rendered my computer useless, then got back to last working config and did the real fix.
I'll tell you what to do and what not to do!
When I connected my device, I got an error 41 under device status (in start->run->devmgmt.msc)
What to do: Find the HID category (on my machine it is here:)
remove the 'UpperFilters' key, if it is there
Subsequently I removed the subfolders under that category( 0000,0001 etc), corresponding to any usb device that had previously been connected - I'm not sure this is necessary, though.
What NOT to do: remove UpperFilters and LowerFilters anywhere else (i tried that, it was fatal)
