My LG4 screen splits in half, then the two screen go up & down on their own

faults & possible causes to LCD & Plasma screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Faults to all LCD & Plasma screen are similar, irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Try removing the battery completely and leaving it out for a couple of hours before reinstalling it.

OR google for an LG4 Manual, and try the Factory Reset key sequence.

Do you always shut down and unplug the laptop when not in use? Has it been cleaned recently? Fan, Vents, heatsink? Has there been ANY damage? It sounds like your Graphics Adapter. screen, Inverter, is going? Have to say exactly. Does the Laptop Overheat?

Sounds like the color wheel is not turning properly. I would recommend calling 1-800-samsung to set up repair with an authorized service center. I would not try to replace it yourself. The part costs $120.00- $180.00.

Its in your settings you can have two chanels going at once. you can turn it off with your remote

My new TV LCD Samsung LC32C530 Series 5 has one half darker and with less contrast than the other.This is noticeable now always. There is a distinct and clear division down exactly half the display which separates the dark and light sides.. Any ideas?Thank you.

Our 42" LG picture is also split down the middle. It doesn't matter if it is cable or a DVD. I would love to know if anyone has found out the solution to this prob. The TV is only 3 years old...

Is the tv still in warranty? The problem is the upper buffer board, it's a small board that controls the upper portion of the screen. You will have to consult a service center to get it, it's very easy to install
